Getting started
From zero to your first remote session in three minutes.
1. Install AdvDesk
Download AdvDesk.exe on the PC you want to control. No installer screens — the binary runs directly.

If Windows SmartScreen warns you, click More info → Run anyway. See /install for screenshots.
2. Launch & note your ID
When AdvDesk starts, the main window shows two fields:
- Your ID — a 9-digit number. This is the address other peers use to reach you.
- Your password — an 8-character one-time password. Regenerate any time from the menu.
3. Connect from another device
On the second computer (or in the web viewer) enter the host's ID and password and click Connect. Done.
