Common fixes for the issues we get the most.

Windows SmartScreen warning

Click More info on the blue dialog, then Run anyway. We're working on EV code-signing — until then this is unavoidable for new releases. See /install for visuals.

Can't connect

• Confirm both peers see the relay status as operational on /status-page.
• Corporate firewalls may block wss:// on port 443; try a personal hotspot to confirm.
• Make sure the host clicked Accept on the prompt — sessions time out after 30 seconds.

Slow connection

From the toolbar, switch the quality preset to Mobile — this drops to 15 fps with stronger compression and is dramatically smoother on bad links.

Audio not working

Audio capture currently relies on Windows WASAPI loopback. macOS and Linux hosts don't yet expose system audio — only mic. We're tracking this.
